Gorges de Covotonnaz

Dear Homer,
We went back to our favorite hiking spot, with our visitors.
This is how you get there...
take the metro to the Lausanne Gare, hop onto an SBB CFF FFS train from Lausanne to Yverdon-les-Bains, run to the outside platform to catch the little train to Sainte Croix.
When in Ste. Croix, visit the playground and the CIMA music box museum,
stop into the Migros to collect your snacks (bread, cheese, apples...) then, follow the yellow wanderweg signs for Vitebouef.   These signs will lead you through a valley, a cow pasture, and a deep gorge full of massive rocks, trees, moss and waterfalls and finally into the town of Vitebouef where you catch the little train back to Yverdon.
On this trip through the gorge, H. and I shared the camera... I was looking for trees and wildflowers while H.was looking for "sunlight."
